At Le Petit Gan International preschool, we pride ourselves on being an international preschool that embraces every culture around the world. Our creative learning experience allows your child to immerse themselves in different cultures while taking in the benefits from exposure to diverse settings. Le Petit Gan International Preschool specializes in three languages: French, Spanish, and Hebrew.
Studies have shown that it’s never too early for your child to learn a new language–it’s stimulating, it promotes academic achievement, and has cognitive and social benefits. The many benefits that come with your child’s knowledge of another language can last a lifetime.
At Le Petit Gan International Preschool, we recognize the importance of teaching and maintaining your child’s knowledge of a new language. Whether your goal is for your child to learn a new language or your goal is for your child to maintain a language, we are here to help every step of the way.
We focus on specific, personalized approaches when it comes to your child’s language development. Our comprehensive strategy has proven to be extremely beneficial when it comes to supporting your child in the learning and development of a new language.
Here is how our one-of-a-kind preschool incorporates different languages into your child’s learning:
French is integrated into your child’s school day by speaking to the children in French, introducing and singing French songs with them, and readings of well-known French children’s books and stories. We also incorporate small lessons in vocabulary.
With Spanish, we integrate the language into your child’s school day in the same manner, with songs, stories, and organic incorporation of the language throughout the day. We also include small lessons in vocabulary.
Hebrew & Jewish Culture
Hebrew/Jewish culture is learned by introducing well-known songs and stories in connection to holidays such as Channukah, Purim, and Rosh Hashanah. We incorporate traditional activities like baking challah on Fridays with the students.
